“Are you proud of being a Davaoeño? Are you proud of your heritage? Tell the world about it and join our group. This group is dedicated to bring every Davaoeño to help promote Davao City to the rest of the world. To show that each one of us can make a difference in helping Davao City become a globally competitive city and as well as a great place to stay. Viva Davao City and Viva Philippines Viva Davao Pride Group!!! Proudly Davao – made” –Chris Cubos

Davao Pride was originally created by Chris Cubos, owner of Fwends Diner-Davao. An informal group that was formed in the very infamous social site, Friendster, that aims to promote unity and camaraderie among the peoples of Davao City. It aims to introduce Davao City and its people to the rest of the world. It also provides a meeting place for Davaoeños, especially the youth, to share ideas and talk current issues happening within and outside the city.
